The company is in Israel. The mother is not a Maxwell.
The caption wants one root: Chabad, Mossad, Maxwell, Epstein, then the foundation chart. That is the lineage detour. The alignment that is actually on paper is narrower and more useful. Microsoft planted its first lab outside the United States in Israel in 1991, because he said yes. The war cloud that followed is the company’s, after he had left the board.

THE LAB
1991. Israeli engineers at Microsoft wanted to go home and keep the job. Gates opened the Israel R&D center — the company’s first outside the United States. On 25 February 2016, its twenty-fifth year, he called the Tel Aviv Think Next event and said he was impressed. The company has said major Windows components were written there. Satya Nadella was in the room with Netanyahu that day. Netanyahu called it a marriage made in heaven. That line is the prime minister’s, not a contract.

Reuters, FactCheck, and the Jerusalem Post: the young man is Yosef Abramowitz, meeting Menachem Mendel Schneerson in Brooklyn in 1992. Abramowitz published it himself in 2014.
THE MONEY
June 2016, Globes: Gates’s first known Israeli investment was indirect, through Intellectual Ventures, into the MEDX Xelerator incubator with Boston Scientific and Sheba Medical Center. The partners’ commitment was reported at $65 million over eight years. Separately, reported Gates Foundation grants to the Hebrew University run on the order of $6.2 million — malaria vectors, contraception chemistry. Health research. Not a state account.
THE CLOUD
Gates left the Microsoft board in March 2020. What the Guardian published on 23 January 2025 is the company after that. Leaked files: between October 2023 and June 2024 Israel’s defence ministry bought about 19,000 hours of Microsoft engineering support, on the order of $10 million, including rapid help for Mamram, the IDF’s central computing unit. By March 2024 the military’s monthly use of Azure machine-learning tools was about 64 times the September 2023 level. That is alignment of the firm he founded. It is not his signature on a war order.

- That Mary Maxwell Gates was kin to Robert Maxwell or Ghislaine. She was an only child. Her father was James Willard Maxwell, a Seattle banker from Nebraska. Robert Maxwell was born Hoch in Czechoslovakia and took the name Maxwell in Britain in 1948.
- That Chabad-Lubavitch is an “extremist end-times cult” because a caption says so. It is a Hasidic movement. The adjective is the meme.
- That the Gates family ran child trafficking with Epstein. He has testified to meetings with Epstein from 2011 to 2014, after the Florida conviction, chasing philanthropy money that never came. He calls it one of his larger mistakes. He says he never went to the island. That record is not a Maxwell blood pact, and this file will not narrate the crimes.
- That the influence chart’s bubbles are this file’s census. Gavi, WHO, and the foundation’s health spend are a real machine. The dollar circles on that graphic are not audited here.
