Historical territory
A silhouette of the land between the river and the sea.
Geography and a political dispute. Mandate, 1948, 1967, Oslo, Gaza, the West Bank — two national movements, two peoples, a body count. Argue borders and law here. A map is not a satellite.

National symbolism (Concept A)
A Latin cross.
The graphic mislabels. A Latin cross is a Christian religious sign. It is not Israel’s national flag. If Concept A meant “a nation’s symbol,” Israel’s is a Magen David on white and blue — which is column three wearing a state hat. Do not launder a church mark into a Knesset seal.

Religious identity (Concept B)
A hexagram. Magen David.
A Jewish religious symbol, later also a national one on Israel’s flag. Those two uses are related and still not identical. Neither use is a phased-array dish. File 08 already refused the blood-myth. This column stays a symbol, not an operator.

Communication technology
A Starlink satellite. ENABLED.
SpaceX hardware: low-Earth-orbit internet. Dual-use in Ukraine and in Gaza is a real ethics file — who is allowed a terminal, who is not, under whose license. That is company policy plus a defense ministry. It is not a hexagram with thrusters.

Not a court
The United Nations is a political body. General Assembly and rapporteurs can use the word. That is not a judgment on the merits. Reach is not corroboration.
HRC
A council, not a bench
The Human Rights Council passes resolutions and commissions inquiries. It is not the ICJ. A vote is not a genocide finding.
PVA
Unidentified in the roar
The card does not say which PVA. An acronym with no docket is weather. This file will not invent an institution to complete the chorus.
ICJ
Provisional, not a verdict
South Africa v. Israel. January 2024: the Court found it plausible that Palestinians in Gaza have rights under the Genocide Convention that could be at risk, and ordered Israel to prevent genocidal acts and allow aid. It did not find that genocide had occurred. The merits case is still open. “Plausible” at the provisional stage is not “ICJ says it’s genocide.”
ICC
Warrants. Not that charge. Not that man.
21 Nov 2024: arrest warrants for Netanyahu and Gallant — war crime of starvation as a method of warfare; crimes against humanity of murder, persecution, other inhumane acts. Also warrants in the same situation for Hamas commanders. The published charges are not a genocide count. Elon Musk is not a defendant.
The man and the dish
War criminal is a legal status. It requires a competent tribunal, a charge, and a finding. Musk has none of those. Starlink’s dual-use — terminals for the IDF, pledges for recognised aid groups, blackouts as a weapon of war, Ukraine on/off — belongs in a corporate-accountability file. Argue the terms of service and the license. Do not baptise a dish as a Magen David and call it a verdict.
This file will not say
- That Starlink is the Star of David. Six points on a religious hexagram are not six points on a marketing joke, and neither is a satellite bus.
- That Elon Musk is a convicted war criminal. No court has charged him. A reply-guy sermon is not The Hague.
- That UN, HRC, PVA, ICJ, and ICC all issued the same genocide judgment. They did not. Lineage the instrument or sit down.
- That Jewish religious identity operates the constellation. That is Tell 04 and Tell 05 running at once: office abandoned for genome, one hidden root for the war and the algorithm.
This file will say
- Keep the four columns. Territory. (A misdrawn) national mark. Jewish religious/national symbol. A satellite ISP.
- If you argue Gaza, argue the convention, the open ICJ merits, the ICC warrants as written, the death ledger, the siege. Do not argue a logo.
- If you argue Starlink, argue who got terminals, who did not, and under whose permission. Dual-use is real. A six-point punchline is not.
